Edward Harrison Compton (*Feldafing 1881 - † 1960 Feldafing)

was surrounded by impressive scenery paintings by his father E.T. Compton since his birth. His early drawing talent developed during many years of work beside his father in the shared studio to an unmistakable own signature.

Although wheelchair-ridden for many years, his perspective is always that of the brilliant beholder of closeness and the longing mind-wanderers in the vast distance. Read more...
