Eine klare Anordnung: sechs quadratische Bildtafeln gleicher überschaubarer Grösse (50 x 50 cm) in zwei Dreierreihen übereinander, eine siebte Tafel separat für sich allein montiert. Auf jedem der Bilder, die nach einer durchdachten Regie neben- und übereinander angeordnet sind, ist dieselbe identische sechseckige Figur eingemittet.

Irene Andessner + Ingolf Timpner - Collaborations

The exhibition "Collaborations" at Galerie Bugdahn und Kaimer exemplifies the joint works of Irene Andessner, an artist living in Vienna, and Düsseldorf-based artist Ingolf Timpner. For both, the portrait, the representation of the human individual, is an integral part of their work; and the pieces of both markedly feature role play and a disregard for the bounds of period.

"field recording" by Nadine Fecht involves the presentation of a lightroom. Just as the process of photographic exposure requires a darkroom to control the incidence of right, this lightroom clearly needs overexposure to show structures that would otherwise remain invisible.

Tim Roda - The Butcher's Block / Clare Langan

Tim Roda's black and white family portraits are filled with reverberations of his childhood memories and family traditions as a site of individual and communal mythmaking. Incorporating his four sons and his wife into his photographs while enacting family scenes, Roda collapses the past and the present as well as the private and the public.

Melli Ink - locus amoenus

Grieder Contemporary is delighted to present "locus amoenus", a solo exhibition by Melli Ink and the gallery's third exhibition featuring this artist. The Austrian artist is supplementing her new groups of works in glass, wood and ceramic with the minerals mountain crystal and rose quartz, and expanded her cosmos of images through the garden of earthly delights. She is also showing a new work in the form of a carpet.
