Since 2005 Forth Estate Editions has emerged as a compelling new voice in the vibrant fine art print community. Having exhibited the publisher's first year of prints at the end of 2006, Klaus von Nichtssagend Gallery is excited to have the opportunity to show their latest editions. The editions included in this show represent the wide range of technical and artistic possibilities of the artist-printer collaboration.

Trenton Doyle Hancock - Fear

James Cohan Gallery is proud to present the fourth gallery exhibition by artist Trenton Doyle Hancock. Hancock is well known for evolving his absurdist narrative of the battle between good and evil executed across a wide variety of media that includes painting, collage, sculpture, print and the performing arts. The artist's densely layered works incorporate text, drawing, collaged paper, plastic, felt, fur and paint to create a collision of symbols and visual tropes that evidence Hancock's singular vision and distinctive means of storytelling.

Pirro Cuniberti - Born Out of a Rib of Graphite

Jennifer Bacon and Filippo Fossati are pleased to announce the first solo exhibition in the United States of work by the Italian artist Pirro Cuniberti.

Pier Achille (Pirro) Cuniberti, a prominent figure in postwar Italian art, was born in 1923, Padulle di Sala Bolognese, near Bologna in Italy. After high school, in February 1943 Pirro Cuniberti received his draft notice and was sent to the 2nd Grenadier Regiment of Sardinia; fate will also intervene in the tragic days defending Rome.

Jacob Feige - After Dense Fog

Lombard-Freid Projects presents "After Dense Fog", the second solo show at the gallery of New York based painter Jacob Feige.

This exhibition continues Feige's investigation of the awe-inspiring potential of the American landscape through the lens of artistic counterculture movements of the 1960s and 70s. In his new paintings, the superimposition of geometric forms onto intricately formulated landscapes combines the romanticism of Nineteenth Century American painting with the trippy kaleidoscopic patterns of Psychedelic art.

Von Lintel Gallery is pleased to present a group exhibition curated by artist Marco Breuer titled "The Innerworld of the Outerworld of the Innerworld". The exhibition takes its title from a 1967 poem by Austrian writer Peter Handke. For his most recent curatorial venture, Breuer has brought together the work of Nancy Cohen, Tim Davis, Tony Feher, Julian Kreimer, Fawn Krieger, Marguerite Kahrl, and James Hegge, a group of artists who engage in a dialogue between interior and exterior worlds, beyond simple duality.

Main Exhibition Space: To mark his US debut, Belfast-born Eamon O'Kane presents new, large-scale oil paintings depicting "recombinant" Modernist architectural masterpieces set in idyllic landscapes and the subversive yet subtle forces undermining the utopian ideal they evoke.

RARE PLUS: In "Day-Specific", Italian artist Federico Pietrella exhibits new works on paper and a flashlight installation that represents the relentless passage of time.

Morgan Lehman is pleased to present "Sirens Sing You to Shipwreck", Laura Ball's first New York solo exhibition. Ms. Ball's watercolors and oil paintings incorporate journeys, trials, and transformation woven into narratives that resemble contemporary fairy tales. Modern day struggles of the subconscious unfold into playful conflict among surreal and dreamlike landscapes. Gender politics, the environment, and violence are themes embedded within her fantastical narratives.

Moskowitz is widely known as a prominent figure in the New Image Painters, a group of artists named after the 1978 Whitney exhibition that marked a return to an overt figurative style in painting after the conceptual periods of Minimalism, performance and installation.

Tasha Amini - Paintings

D'Amelio Terras is pleased to present the first show in New York by British artist Tasha Amini. In this exhibition, Amini will show four new paintings that combine figurative as well as abstract elements.

Amini's paintings employ a subdued range of faint greens, grays, pinks and purples and often originate from photographs taken from her personal archive. The atmosphere of the works is reflective and reticent and often the paintings have an underlying psychological component.
