David Risley Gallery is proud to present an exhibition of four new works by Keith Tyson.

Tyson's relentlessly expansive practice, a 20-year journey that has included drawing, painting, sculpture and large-scale installation, may be most readily defined as an engagement with systems. This project is based, as a starting point and a source of inspiration, on a book by the Russian draughtsman, Danzig Baldaev ,(2005-1935), Drawings from the Gulag. This book contains drawings that describe the life under the Stalin communist regime. The sketches, that were made during Baldaev military service in the red army, represent the life in the communist labor camps.

Christian Falsnaes opens Nikolajs performance program with his performance "Existing Things".

During this performance he will, in collaboration with the audience, create a work that is exhibited on the following day at his solo exhibition "Fulfilling Your Expectations" at Rohde Contemporary.

In his art Falsnaes samples references and elements from philosophy, computer games, art, movies, comics, graffiti and mythology in complex performances, that deals with contemporary culture and identity.
