Cows are omnipresent, sharing an honored position worldwide in all cultures. While some cultures value cows as currency, representing wealth and well being, others value cows as a source of valued nutrition in the form of meat and milk products. Hindus see their ancestors in cows. Cows are worshiped, accumulated, confined, eaten, and tampered with. The “Cow Series” attempts to shed some light on the relationship between cows and humans, or just on humankind.
