Rolf Winnewisser (b. 1949) is one of the most interesting Swiss artists of his generation. Even early in his career he was able to mark up major artistic successes: these include the 1972 invitation to the legendary documenta 5 in Kassel as well as exhibitions in Museum of Art Lucerne and Kunsthalle Basel. In the 1970s and early 1980s Rolf Winnewisser took part in all the major exhibitions featuring young Swiss artists.
