Monica Ursina Jäger's (*1974) condensed graphical and installative language radiates an apocalyptic mood: Flocks of birds threateningly circle over architectural forms, the cloudy sky looks gloomy and humans become only miniscule decorations. Natural and urban landscapes blend into dystopian scenes. Disparate image fragments join to become narratives in which the political and the absurd go hand in hand.
