The works of the artist Barthélémy Toguo (born 1967 in Camaroon) deal with his life between the two residences in Paris and Bandjoun, Cameroon and the prejudices with which he has continually struggled as a black African artist. Scholarships at the academies of Dusseldorf and Grenoble brought Toguo into this state of transit very early on.
